Explanation:
First of all, please note that MS checkers are wrong most of the time and can barely recognize even the simple common words.

Now ... If you're wishing to apply the Arabic rules on pronouncing the word, then as it's Spain in English, and as the "s" is (sakina) while the "p" is (maksora), then we should go for the kasra as it has a stronger effect over the "alef" and so it would be إسبانيا.

The common pronunciation of the word today among Arabs; however, is أسبانيا.

Accordingly, the alef was originally created from our Arabic tongues not accepting the silent dental initial letters at the beginning of the word. My opinion is that you may use any of them, although I'd go for the first myself as it's closer to the original pronunciation. Still, you may go for any of the two words as the whole word and it's Arabic pronounced version is a transliteration from the original after all.
