石灰質土壤 (Calcareous Soils)
1. 係指土壤中含有頗多之石灰物質，如CaCO3, MgCO3及CaMg(CO3)2等。
2. 少雨地區土壤中，由於風化作用自各種礦物釋放出來之Ca2+,Mg2+等離子，因雨水不多未遭流失，常以碳酸鹽之狀態聚積於土壤中，在其他氣候中，有些石灰岩、大理岩或其他含石灰物質之母質，其風化生成之土壤，其中之石灰物質未被流失而保存。
3. pH 7 ~ 8.5，磷有效性低 (難溶性之Ca-P化合物)。Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe有效性低
4. 改良 → 將石灰物質移去

在偏碱富钙的岩溶生态系统中,其土壤具以下特征:①形成速率十分缓慢,形成1m厚的土层需要 250～7880ka,因而对岩溶区土壤侵蚀的评价应有新的认识;②高含量的钙离子使土壤腐殖质中胡敏酸的含量比例较高,且稳定性好,不易分解的腐殖质使石灰土供应营养元素具缓效性;
