Wanneer je het hebt over wanprestatie dan heb je het over slecht prestatie of het niet nakomen an een overeengekomen verplichting. In geval van niet nagekomen verplichtingen bijvoorbeld financieel zou ik eerder de woorden gebruiken ingebreke stellen, sommeren, in verzuim zijn.
