English term or phrase: mandates *non-repetitive* inspection and rework of bonded joints
Same airworthiness directive.

Simple word, but what is a non- repetetive inspection, when the text talks about checking the bondlines every 150 flight hours. Is it the same as regular or one-time as opposed to multiple.

one-time check only
Explanation:
I think that this is used where there a risk becomes known, and you have a set time in which to make the inspection. for example: if one plane is found to have a problem after 50 hours of total flying time, the manufacturer or FAA may send out a requirement that all aircraft of this type are checked for the problem - if the problem is not found at that inspection then there will not be a problem ever, but if there is a problem then you need to fix it.

I suppose it is similar to recalls with cars, where if a manufacturing mistake is made you have to take your car into the garage to have it checked for that problem.

agree  Raging Dreamer: Not that there may not be a problem ever, but that only the one vehicle is affected by that problem, and it's not a problem in engineering/design. Good explanation.
