I absolutely agree, it's definitely not 'blah blah blah blah'. Some readers/members of the audience will nevertheless be reminded of someone saying 'blah blah blah blah' when they read/hear 'quaquaquaqua'. Of course I can only speculate if Beckett was aware of the association, or indeed if he knew the colloquialism. The OED's earliest entry for 'blah' is from 1918 ('bla bla bla' 1924, 'blah-blah' 1931, and 'bla-blahing' 1945); it's originally from the US, but George Orwell used it in his diary in 1942.
