neutral  Chris Rowson: I like all of this except the headline - developing an aspect is not necessarily a broadening of horizons, and can even be a narrowing.

"Get out and see the world! - Taste life!"

Explanation:
I agree with all of the proposed answers, but would add that this sometimes literally means to "see other horizons, lands, etc." Seek out the unknown!

(I included a link to Ecotourism called "Broaden Your Horizons.")

The main point is to increase experiences, perhaps in pursuit of knowledge, skills and/or other perspectives. eg. Personal development is achieved through trying new things and taking on new challenges.

As you were looking for other expressions, I thought this may be helpful.

Happy travels :)!

see beyond the end of one's nose (or snout, in my case) ¶:^)

Explanation:
Hi Wang,
Another option.
Good luck from Oso ¶:^)

(from Cambridge International Dictionary of English)
If someone can't see further than/can't see beyond the end of their nose, they do not notice what is happening around them.
