Agreed, Andrew, it is either something like this or something to do with the equipment.
Either way the wrong word was used for any layperson, or for that matter, anyone else to understand. A definite case of verbal sabotage of a perfectly good word.

This could well be 'courettes' in which case we are talking about small courtyards which would fit the context I think.

Just throwing up another idea. Curettes are instruments or classed as equipment, I wonder if stations, are where the Fire alarm, fire extinguisher and fire hose are located, and the "curette" is the other equipment, like the axe and glass breaker. It all seams to point toward a fire safety station.

Is it possible this EN document originating from a translated FR document? The labnguiage sounds decidely suspiciously non-native to me, and has a dsitinct whiff of FR about it. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a typo for the FR word 'courette', which seems to have missed getting translated...
