Soil Studies
They are the result of borings located in advance, based on the sort of structure to be founded. Such studies shall contain, at least, the information detailed as follows:

Geotechnical features of the site, stratigraphic profiles, mechanical properties of soils extracted, ground-water level, recommendations on the sort foundation, its depth, bearing capacity, differential settlements, etc.


Is it correct using "in advance" or should I use previously located? I think the first one fits Ok.

Explanation:
When I first read the text, and "located in advance", I was in doubt if this meant the position of the borings had been decided in advance, or if the borings had actually been drilled in advance. Using the term above, this doubt no longer exists.
You could also say "whose location was previously decided", which has the same meaning.

Explanation:
Leave it as it is. "Previously located" would be wrong. Though there are other, possibly better, ways of putting it, e.g. at pre-specified locations, I don't think that the benefit is sufficient justification to change the phrase used by the original translator.
