VOLUNTARY AIDED SCHOOLS
These are partly maintained by the Church of England or Roman Catholic Church and partly by the Local
Authority. There are three voluntary aided secondary schools in the City. They are: The Trinity Catholic
School, The Nottingham Emmanuel Church of England (VA) School and The Nottingham Bluecoat
Church of England (VA) School and Technology College. Each school’s Governing Body is the
admissions authority with responsibility for offering or refusing places.
