English term or phrase: as far as
I want to know the meaning of this sentence:

"I thought that her genuine concern about this indicated that this was as far as She had experienced sex at this stage"
Tejinder Soodan
India
only this far
Explanation:
You should give a lot more context (we don't know what she is concerned about, for example) but this could be one interpretation of your sentence:
a girl who has never experienced full sexual intercourse, after some 'heavy petting' might be concerned that she is pregnant: this is because she has never experienced sex any FURTHER than that. This stage (heavy petting) id AS FAR AS she has experienced sex. She has not experienced it FURTHER (= more far)[I'm only writing 'more far' in case you are not familiar with the language]

limited sexual experience

Explanation:
Means that she was curious about sexual things she had not experienced yet. She had had some limited sexual experience (as far as "fill in the blank", but not all the way.)

neutral  Can Altinbay: Nothing in the sentence indicates curiosity. "Concern" means she was afraid more than curious. Depending on where the author was in "this", it may be that she had had no sexual experience, but I guess you could call that limited.

-> well, yes, but there is no doubt that she had "some" experience. But you do have a point about the "genuine concern" part.

It just means that, that level or stage, represented the limit of her sexual experience.
