English term or phrase: Job Evidence
"Send evidence stencil to employer for completion and return within agreed timescale"

"Chase the employer for the evidence"

I wish to know what is meant by job evidence in this context, thank you all in advance.

proof of the job
Explanation:
Could do with more context, really (hence the low confidence level) but it seems pretty likely that the employment agency gives a form to the new job-holder to give to his/her employer. The employer completes and signs the form, which is then sent back to the employment agency. This is to prove that the job-seeker is now employed, so their name can be removed from the list of unemployed.

Sorry, just discovered that the form goes directly to the employer (not to the job-holder)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Santa, the context is a guidance for the processes and actions implemented by the a local council as stated above and I can't be sure whether the authors are native English speakers or not, all I got their names: "Heather ‎Plummeridge" and "Graeme Fitzjohn".

Asker: Thank you Santa!
