English term or phrase: I feel like I've really arrived
One party depicts an unfovarable scene like: "Only villains would consider belonging to this den of a club". The other party, being part of the club, says "I feel like I've really arrived". It is clear that the second party understands the negative connotation but it is not clear whether s/he meant it as an irony or in self-mockery. I undersatdn it as "This is my home" but the subtlety of the situation escapes me.

I've achieved acceptance
Explanation:
The first considers him/herself to be an honest person, so wouldn't want to be associated with this club. The second has managed to be accepted as a member - (s)he has therefore been accepted as part of the criminal underworld and is very happy about it. For them, membership is an achievement.

Note that this is not likely to be a club you can simply decide to join if you want to - you have to meet with the approval of the existing members.

agree  Ildiko Santana: He is "somebody"; "have arrived to" (idiom): have reached a position of power, authority, or prominence. She saw her picture on the cover of the magazine and felt that she had finally arrived. When I got an office with a window, I knew that I had arrived.
