English term or phrase:consideration on/over
consideration on/over the use of the method
When you put that in Google, the results show that it's some Polish invention (out of necessity). Or perhaps sounds native? Meaning "deliberations on".
Explanation: Neither of your suggestions work with "consideration". It would help if we had a longer sentence to go on, but as a general rule, consideration goes with "of": e.g. after some consideration of the matter, they decided....
Hope this helps

Sorry, I've just realised you've given us a little more: in that case, you could leave out the "use" as that would mean to many "of": after some consideration of the method, or after considering the way the method is used.... hard to say without any more information.

Should read "too many "of", of course; over really doesn't work.
The best answer! Gerund is awkward. "Considerations" mean sth else.
From a web page: "Reflection shows thorough and thoughtful consideration of using this tool in a classroom setting." 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
More exactly: it's a separate sentence. "Discussion on the use of Xmetry indicated that the method was simple and fast." Discussion which is contained in the full text of the thesis.
Discussion is fine. Deliberation means a discussion aimed at a finding an answer or a solution. It thus implies a more tasked oriented discussion. But it really depends on the tone of the text as well as the meaning. If you want to post a few more sentences that might help in getting a more definitive answer.
Deliberations is still actively used in English to convey the idea of a discussion or a meeting where idea's are hashed out - discussed out - considered and debated. To my ear considerations is a more passive term, for example, we took into accounts all considerations. So there is, in my opinion, a not insignificant difference of meaning between considerations and deliberations. If your text about people discussing the proper method to use, then I think deliberations is a better choice.
We really need a sentence here, but if you use considerations (plural) then you could indeed follow this with "over", but it would normally be "security considerations", "tactical considerations", "technological considerations" etc.
