English to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Insurance | | English term or phrase: abeyance | I am translating a PPT presentation which is a training tool intended to the company analysts to train them on how to deal with major claims (do they have to transfer te file to a specialized unit or not).
One slide is as follows:
Within 24 hours of trigger identification,
send an abeyance to the xxxx (name of the unit) and
the Team Leader, and notepad the Major Claims Report into the system.
I now the word "abeyance" in a legal context but it does not seem to fit here...
Any idea?
Thanks |
