English term or phrase: flows (in the context)
talking about "service realization"
"Service realization is the process that recognizes that the software that realizes (or implements) a given service must be selected or custom built
....
In Service Realization, you make the decision as to which legacy system module will be used to realize a given service and which services will be built from the "ground-up"."
....

then some scenarios are presented:

"Services are built from existing code, new components, and some service choreography flows"
"Services are built from existing code, new components, and flows"
"new applications are built extensively as flows"

...what's the meaning of flow in this case??

sequences (control/ logic flows)
Explanation:
In 'structured programming' there are 3 basic programming 'bricks': Sequence, Selection and Iteration. Selections, Iterations, and other functions are finally put toghether in a Sequence (top-downseries of instructions. This is the main flow the program follows.

sequence in which operations are performed

Explanation:
service choreography flows: service choreography continuous output. That's its sequence in which operations are performed.

In your first sentence, I'd go for the meaning of "smooth unbroken continuity".

In your second, it sounds as if flowes of operations.

In your third, its the "applications" being built in continuity and smoothness.

I got it that way, but you better wait for more answers :)
