English term or phrase: Name (please print)
In some kind of contractual agreement, at the end there are a few lines that have to be filled. One of them says "Name (please print)", the others are signature, address and date.

My question is, if this means that the person is supposed to write his name in capital letters or is it something else?

write your name

Explanation:
It usually appears the expression **type or print** which means that you either use a computer or a typewriter (type) or write without joining the letters together (print).

In Spanish would be ESCRIBA A MÁQUINA O EN LETRA DE MOLDE
