utterly ambiguous Explanation: From my first reading of the source text (as a native UK English speaker) I took it to mean that sensitive fields in the database, which contain information that usually needs to be authorized (maybe credit ratings, or personalized discounts for regular clients) in fact contains information which has not been properly defined/specified/approved by management. But Mike's reading - although very different - is also possible. |
