English to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / fosters a bid | | English term or phrase: to foster a bid | "The latest model fosters a bid to smash unprecedented records"
The model in question is a sports watch.
I'm not sure of the meaning of "fosters a bid" here. Does that mean that it's a safe bet to say it'll smash records?
Thanks! |
