Isolated, it appears to mean that they search for practical ways to package the cigarettes? But it doesn't make sense to me. Why would the smokers do this?
Does it mean that they prefer the cigarettee "function" to packaging?
Here is the context:
Their smoking experience and its associated pleasure is affected by the fact that they struggle to find comfortable places to smoke. Smoking is seen as a time cutter and therefore it does not matter if they are alone or with others. They look for a functional approach to packaging. They see smoking as their personal moment but are concerned about their breath after their cigarette. They value clean, comfortable and odor-free dedicated smoking environments |
