English term or phrase: in-house blinding
Double-blind plus in-house blinding
[does this mean at the study site or at home?)

Explanation:

In-house blinding means that in addition to the study site personnel and the participant in a clinical trial (double-blind) also the spnsor's reserach personnel (except the statistician creating the schedule) are blinded. Hence also the expression "double-blinded with in-house blinding".

e.g.:
This study will follow the [...] in-house blinding procedure, i.e., besides study center personnel and patients, [...] research personnel (with the exemption of the designated
unblinded statistician) and the CRO conducting the study are also blinded during the screening process of reviewing and finding corrections to the data before the data file is frozen for final statistical analysis and reporting.

The gender-stratified randomization schedule was computer-generated by the sponsor. In order to ensure in-house blinding, the schedule was created by an assistant statistician who was otherwise not involved with the study. On the day of surgery, patients were randomized to receive one of three antiemetic treatments before operation: oral aprepitant 40 mg, oral aprepitant 125 mg, or i.v. ondansetron 4 mg. Patient and investigator blinding was maintained with matching placebos.
