Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / Fantasy | | English term or phrase: I am the bull of the lick | in a pseudo-biography I'm translating into Hebrew, the yonung Abe Lincoln fights a couple of guys, throws the strongest of them down and shouts "I am the bull of the lick". I think I got the general meaning of it but can anyone help? What's that 'lick' he's talking about? - When I know that I can think of someway to make it work in Hebrew.

I am guessing the lick is the salt lick that herds of cattle have access to. Presumably, the bull is given first option at the lick and the herd of cows accesses it afterwards. So he's king of the jungle, bull of the salt-lick! |
