English term or phrase: Do we know anything of this?
The Word Rediscovered
by King Josiah, who begins to reign when he is only eight years old. As God's Word is rediscovered and obeyed, amazing events take place. ***Do we know anything of this?***

Does the question have a literal sense or may it imply, "Does this sound familiar to us? Have we experienced this in our lives?"?
That's why I ask native English speakers to help me.

agree  Henry Schroeder: If it is for sunday school kids, I would think of it more along the lines of "where do we see this in our lives?" At least that is what they say in my New York church...

Donald Rumsfeld explained this answer the best of any person.

Explanation:
The Unknown
As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.

.......................................................................................
Do we know anything of this?
There are some things which were created which are unknown unknowns, which when we ask do we know, the answer is we don't know as we haven't discovered its existence yet to enable us to know it.

"As God's Word is rediscovered and obeyed, amazing events take place" Something as simple as pure water, do we know the origin of pure water, we know its make up, we know what it is, but do we really know why it was created... what an amazing event this was...now a known unknown as we begin to think of why it was created. Gods word Eat, drink....
