English term or phrase: we just pulled up
Hello everyone, I need some help understanding the following:

"With that SKEW thing, **we just pulled up**, we looked like construction workers, and walked out with it".

Context: The Author is interviewing two street artists asking them how they manage to put up their work without anybody noticing. I just can't figure out what "we just pulled up" means in this context.
Any suggestions will be most appreciated.
Thanks
