English term or phrase: Chum the Cheeseball's
the term comes from a sentence like this:" Are you nervous, bud? You'll do great, I bet you'll win. But it doesn't matter if you don't because you're still a winner for Daddy. Are you all set for Zany Brainy? It should be fun. Chum the Cheeseball's first visit!"

I wonder what "Chum the Cheeseball's "mean?

English translation:some kind of novelty children's toy
Explanation:
Zany Brainy was a novelty toy store chain in the US that went into administration, so by the context I can only assume it's some kind of toy that may have been popular at time this text was written, though there's nothing on google

Nickname for a member of the group

Explanation:
OK, this is just as much of a guess as all the others. From the context, I would guess that this is just a nickname for a member of the party. It might be a doll or stuffed animal that one of the children is carrying.
