English term or phrase:can somebody give me plus and minus symbol.
In MS word, I can get the + on top and - below it symbol.But the other way, that is - on top and + below it is not found, can somebody show me where to find it in symbols, or any other way.
Explanation: the -/+ symbol also exists in the MT Extra font which, I believe, installs with MS Office. Look for it. (I can also mail it to you, if you wish).
To CD Clark: it depends on the keyboard code you have in Windows. When I follow your directions on my Polish programmers' keyboard, I get the Polish letter ¹ (a,)...

Or, most likely, the font installs when you install the equation editor function in MS Word.
I always install the equation editor, so I wrote that the font installs with MS Office, but it ain\'t necessarily so...

actually the client does not have a softcopy so he just handed a hardcopy to me which I am typing out. So somehow I have to get the symbol. any way thanks idiko.
