It definitely looks like Information Technology (IT) and I wouldn\'t translate it as anything else unless the text specifically says so. Information Technology support would make sense here.

Explanation:
I posted an additional answer just to comment: Often in large organzations there is a whole department called IT or IS (see above).

In this context the sense is any ordinary department can set up this capability without waiting around for programmers or technical assistance from another department. That is the technology is easy to use and the instructions are clear.
