Asian cuisine served to suit a European or American style


Explanation:
East, in this case, clearly does mean Asia, or even East Asia and West means European and/or American.

In the context of a hotel restuarant, I think that they are trying to communicate to a "western" hotel and restaurant visitor to East Asia, that this is food that is "eastern," but not so hot and spicy or exotic that you won't like it if you are accustomed to western food.
