French term or phrase: demande principale en divorce vs. demande en divorce
Hi all,

Can someone tell me if there is a difference between a "demande **principale** en divorce" and a "demande en divorce" ? I have been translating "demande en divorce" as "petition for divorce".

Comments?

Thanks!
