German term or phrase: auf der Arbeit / an der Arbeit

Ich frage mich es in der Schweiz und/oder Liechtenstein eher "an der Arbeit" heißt oder "auf der Arbeit":

Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz an/auf der Arbeit sind wichtig.

Aus meiner Zeit in Zürich erinnere ich mich, dass man allgemein, im Vergleich zu Deutschland, häufiger "an" sagte als "auf".
