これ、ちょっと恥ずかしいんですけど、契約書で「Aは下記項目の（１）乃至（５）を定める」というのは、（１）から（５）までって言う意味ですよね。

（１）か（５）じゃなくて、（１）から（５）ですよね。

私は「乃至」＝「または」だとず～っと思ってました。今日辞書引いて初めて「乃至」＝「から」という意味もあるんだと知りました。

ってこれ、質問じゃないですね。でも、一応確認しておきたいんで、誰かご教示願えませんか。

1)「英国」乃至「米国」というように、日常用語として、「乃至（ないし）」を「または」と同じ意味で使用することがあります。しかし、契約書で「乃至」を使用しますと、まったく別の意味になってしまいますので注意が必要です。
