Quisiera preguntar a los traductores venezolanos si, al traducir un texto al castellano de Venezuela siempre utilizarían el témino auyama independientemente del tipo de texto que fuera, o si utilizarán otros términos como por ejemplo calabaza.

Oficialmente no soy venezolano, pero sí mentalmente pues conozco bien al país más bello del planeta.

Si tu texto es para público latinoamericano o español, lo traduciría como "calabaza"; en cambio, si los lectores serán venezolanos, definitivamente lo traduciría como "auyama", palabra local y que al usarla, se hace un homenaje a lo pueblos originarios de Venezuela.
