Hola a todos,

tengo una pregunta sobre la gramática de esta frase dentro del contexto:

Las infecciones del sitio quirúrgico (ISQ) en cirugía cardíaca, aunque presentan una baja incidencia, ***se consideran una gran complicación***, tanto para el paciente como para el equipo profesional.

Nunca lo he visto escrito así, pero supongo que 'se consideran' se refiere a las infecciones, por eso está en plural, no? Queda raro así o está bien?
