ritsel in die bries haar hare/ die kontoere se hale/ vlei haar focal point posisie/ in die grootliks vertikale/ komposisie van die raam

Explanation:
As the poem is about a picture I guess that these "hale" mean the strokes of the paint brush. The painter shows her contours off with the clever use of his brush strokes ('hale').
