Të dashur kolegë!
Ju faleminderit të gjithëve për mendimet dhe sugjerimet tuaja. Diskutimi u bë vërtet shumë interesant dhe i "nxehtë".
Logjikisht, Rustemi, Klemi, Shkëndija në dukje kanë të drejtë sepse, vërtet duket e tepërt të theksohet fakti që kryetari ka moshën e duhur ligjore për të vepruar (siç theksoi Rustemi në kushtet e Shqipërisë, ku ky fakt vetëkuptohet).
Nga ana tjetër, në dokumenta ligjorë, pikërisht për arsye të natyrës krejtësisht të veçantë të tyre, theksohet (megjithëse nënkuptohet) që personi në fjalë, ka moshën (ligjore) të duhur si dhe kompetencën (zotësinë) që i jepet nga ligji për të vepruar në një aspekt të caktuar.
Faqet që sugjeron Elvana në shqip janë shembuj shumë të mirë argumentimi. Po jap edhe disa faqe në anglisht.

Albana, në shënimin tuaj ju thoni: " ...Fjalia e dhënë është një formulë standarte e përdorur nga noterët dhe avokatët..." dhe pastaj jepni ca shembuj. Më fal por shembujt tuaj nuk fillojnë me: Kryetari i XXXXX, madhor--. Fjala--madhor--ka disa kuptime dhe në kontekstin që ju keni kërkuar opinionin e përkthyesve ka vetëm një kuptim dhe ai kuptim nuk ka të bëjë aspak me moshën pasi fjala--kryetar--nënkupton moshë madhore. Në qoftë se unë do të isha projekt-dhënësi dhe fjala-madhor- do të përkthehej si: adult, major, of legal age- unë do ta kisha kthyer projektin prapa për korrigjim: as a distortion of the meaning of the word: madhor. I had to take your opinion with a pinch of salt and couldn't help thinking: Is the head in question pulling rank and refusing to conform to the specified template for this kind of certificate writing? If so, then I fully agree with you - he's definitely throwing a 5 year old Tibetan king tantrum.

Also in my opinion : ....me zotesi te plote per te vepruar--- means; in title to, has the full authority to act or to make a decision or sing a document. I do not think in this context means: of legal age.

Dear peers, the word "madhor" used in the above example would imply --age-- only if this certificate/document is issued in Tibet or somewhere else where the leaders/heads of states or other officials may be as young as 5 years old or even younger (throne or position heritage). In my opinion the word: madhor in this context means-title/rank/experience, for example: senior official. You can not have a kryetar 10 years old, at least not in Albania.

To begin with, if "madhor" was meant to be a title, shouldn't it follow immediately after "kryetar"?
Secondly, "madhor dhe me zotësi juridike të plotë për të vepruar" is sort of set expression in these kinds of documents and I don't see this being an exception - any person of whatever title could appear on them and the age declaration still needs to be present.
Thirdly, assuming that all the above is correct, "senior" in this context would imply an elderly citizen.

And finally, yes we do use "adult" and "of legal age" in official papers:

"I the undersigned am of legal age and agree to the above conditions for participation in this event."

"The undersigned is of legal age and competent to enter into this agreement..."

And just in case of a minor being involved:
"The undersigned (hereinafter referred to as "Participant"), being of legal age or signing in conjunction with a parent or legal guardian if not of legal age ..."

That's my take of this.

Interesting discussions.Do we really use the term"adult" or " of legal age" in official papers? I thought that it is understandable that you get the job only when you reach that legal age to work and I don't think that we question or emphasized the age after a title. Do we say Adult deputy, adult staff director,adult editor in chief or we say senior deputy, senior staff director, senior editor in chief, etc. Am I missing somethig? Please, help me. Honestly, I am open to any suggestion or clarification.
