Dear Teuta,
I believe by now you have the answer of your question but I just wanted to point out that less or more all the answers are acceptable. There is a slight difference between them though.
Revenge (also known as vengeance) is a harmful action against a person or group as a response to a real or perceived grievance.
Vendettas or "blood feuds" are cycles of provocation and retaliation, fuelled by a burning desire for revenge and carried out over long period of time by familial or tribal groups. You can find these definition anywhere;books, internet, articles, magazines, dictionaries,etc.-they are not mine.
They were an important part of many pre-industrial societies, especially in the Mediterranean region, and still persist in some areas. Last November I was in a conference in Maqedonia and it was a big discussion about all these terms. You can argue for each of them, you can give examples and arguments based of someone's opinion but at the end you make the choice of each term to be used in the right context and in the right time.
Best Regards,
