defoliate the mulberries/feed the silkworms Explanation: المَرْشَق same as المرشخ: المرشخة هي إمرار اليد على العود لانتزاع الورق عنه دفعة واحدة. المرشخ والمرشق بمعنى واحد: تجريد الغصن من ورقه بأخذه في الكف وسحبه أو جره بطريقة يتجرد بها من ورقه. So مرشق could be the act of defoliating a tree or the place of such a process. Defoliation, defoliator. I am inclined to think it is the act of defoliating (or picking). طعمي القزات: feed the silkworms. This makes sense because silkworms feed on mulberry leaves. So, the sentence would be rendered as follows: Defoliate (or pick) the mulberry leaves and feed the silkworms. Here's an example: "You might be tempted to place the silkworms on a mulberry tree to save the trouble of picking leaves. DON'T! Birds love to snack on silkworms and might devour your whole crop in moments."
