دخلت عليها في المطبخ، وإذا هي تسلق بالقدر عدة حبات من البطاطس، وفجأة وإذا بها تخرج ثمرة بطاطس من الماء المغلي

I know this means "yield" or "fruit" but I was wondering if it could mean "one" here? Also if you could advise the dialect, that'd be great.
