If you are translating that Arabic term -- and here I agree, with full respect, that all the replies provided in this thread thus far by our colleagues are literally correct -- for an English-language readership in the US, an alternative rendition in the typical style of "U.S. police English" would be the adjective string of "Internal Security Forces General Directorate (or in various jurisdictions: Division/Office/Bureau).
The term "General Directorate" is not a common or familiar term in U.S. English, usually converted into "Department" or "Division" or "Branch," depending on that entity's location and level inside a hierarchical organization.
