I realize the literal meaning is "safety guide", but there isn't so much here about actual safety (as far as I can gather), so what might be a better option? |

لتقليص العوائق الفنية للتجارة وتسهيل الحركة الحرة للسلع عبر الحدود لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي كانت شارة المطابقة الخليجية أحد الوسائل الرئيسية لتحقيق هذا الهدف . وهذه شارة ليست علامة جودة ولكنها شارة تدلل على مطابقة المنتجات على الأقل للمتطلبات الأساسية الخاصة بالصحة والسلامة والبيئة
معنى المطابقة غير مقصور على المتطلبات الأساسية ذات الصلة بالسلامة، الصحة العامة، حماية المستهلك .. الخ. حيث قد تفرض لوائح معينة التزامات محددة لا تشكل بالضرورة جزء من المتطلبات الأساسية.
