العماد الأصبهاني، أبو عبد الله محمد بن صفي الدين محمد، ولد بأصبهان، وتعلم ببغداد، وعمل في "ديوان الإنشاء" زمن السلطان نور الدين، ثم لحق بصلاح الدين، له تصانيف عديدة منها "خريدة القصر" و"الفتح القسي القدسي" وقد استوطن دمشق وتوفي بها سنة 597 هـ. انظر: الذهبي: سير أعلام النبلاء 15/214.
