وأما في المغرب العربي: فالأمر أشد مرارة حيث اختلطت العربية بالفرنسية اختلاطا مزريا؛ وأنا شخصيا وجدت في تونس العاصمة عنوان محل هكذا: "المغازي الكبرى" يقصد المحلات الكبرى؛ وكلمة "مغازي" ترجمة للكلمة الفرنسية ”magasin” أو هكذا اعتبرها كاتب العنوان.

Magasin also means مخزن in French, which would make more sense in this context.
