God-fearing is OK but no such word as "God-fearingness." God-fearing itself is enough and carries the meaning of "ness" in it.

My dear Samir:
I am not seeking to suggest you are incorrect and I acknowledge the use of the term here and there. However there is some problem I think with trying to convert an adjective (God-fearing) made of two words (one of which is already a "proper noun"; i.e., "God" into a noun, which is really what is being done here. Fear of God or Conscientiousness of Allah would probably be more linguistically palatable. Again most of the use of the term is by non-native English speaking users.

Yes, God-fearingness is suggested by Qamoos.Sakhr. Not my own Ijtihad.

And by the way, there are 4,070 hits for it. Not Zero.

I looked in the search pane you provided and notice that all sourcesx are not "native" English sources; i.e. they are mostly either Moslem organizations or non-native English speaking sources. But nevertheless I respect thier and Samir's Ijtihad.

Interestingly enough, while not trying to undermine my good colleague Samir, below, I refer to our mutual colleagues at Proz-com to indicate thier agreement or otherwise with the term fearingness or God-fearingness. Sakhr is not a 'wahy" although it is a credible reference, but I doubt if such a term has any lingusitic substantiation. A google search of the term comes up with zero. Can anyoine, say Ala, Fuad or perhaps Nesrin help enlighten us?
