Arabic to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Journalism | | Arabic term or phrase: قناة أهلية | | In a description of various Iraqi TV stations, some of them are listed as being أهلية ... in this context, does this mean "national", as in "broadcast on the national level", "non-governmental", or something else? I thought it might be referring to channels that were both non-governmental and non-partisan, but then one station is listed as being أهلية but belonging to the Assyrian Democratic Movement. |
