لم يكن تأسيس الجماعة ارئاً أو محكوماً برغبة فردية، بل جاء استجابة لحاجة فنية ملحة أستشعرها مجموعة من الشباب الهواة والأكاديميين. فبعد قراءة الواقع المسرحي في مدينة الناصرية الذي كانت تهيمن عليه في الثمانينات الخطابات الأيديولوجية والدعائية، كان لابد من خلق فعل ثقافي مغاير.

Explanation:
Unless and until you get a definite clarification from the client, this is how it should be rendered. Brutal honesty is your best friend. Don't compromise by resorting to shoddy guesswork. You are better than that.

When the client receives your Translator Work Product, it becomes their property. At that point, they have the option to leave it as it is, to delete it out (along with the word "or" that follows), or to substitute what they think is the correct term. That is their prerogative.
