I assume this is either a word for bath or sink this is the only context i have. It doesn't appear to be a very common word so grateful if you could also confirm whether it is a standard term or in a particular dialect?

I have never heard this word before. But it is used on Palestinian sites.

بانيو is what we use in Egypt. The origin is Italian "vasca da bagno".
