Lump sum paid against relinquishing leasehold.
As I understand it, this money is paid by the prospective tenants to the current tenants to induce them to relinquish thier leashold. The new tenants would then expect to recoup this money later on when they are replaced by future tenants. And it continues ad infinitum.
