Carrageenan - Guar gum - Xanthan gum Explanation: This answer is from the Codex Alimentarius of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, which the main source for all food manufacturing standards: ftp://ftp.fao.org/codex/standard/volume12/en/cx_207e.pdf The sources I have looked at do not use the word “gum” in conjunction with Carrageenan.
