polyglyceride esters of fatty acids Explanation: This answer is from the Codex Alimentarius of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, which the main source for all food manufacturing standards: ftp://ftp.fao.org/codex/standard/volume12/en/cx_207e.pdf As I said in my previous answer, the correct answer will depend on the meaning of the preposition before the phrase "fatty acids." Now that we know the original phrase, the mystery is solved. The correct preposition is "of". Fuad Note: ProZ.com seems to be going through another server crash. I was able to post this answer using the German ProZ site (http://de.proz.com). I am not sure if posting the answer through this site will register the answer and trigger a notification e-mail to you or not, but I thought it was worth a shot, especially seeing that your questions have remained unanswered for so long, and I know most translation jobs have strict deadlines. Good luck. See citation above |
