The Abbasid Caliphate, the Abbasi rule
Explanation:
The terms "Abbasid" and "Caliphate" are two words that were invented by British Orientalists. They are still used in many scholarly works. I personally prefer to use "Abbasi," and I rarely use "Caliphate." I would rather use the generic term "rule" or the word Khilafa, but no one will fault you for using any of the Orientalist terms.
