Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / translation of such terms | | Arabic term or phrase: هى تردنى أن أقول لها العواف | | This sentence is taken from the short story "Al-Yadd al-Kabira", by the "Hadithat sharaf" short stories collection, 1958, written by Yusuf Idris. The language used is probably not the arabic standard (al fusha), but I think there are many egyptian terms. It should be found at the end of the second page of the story. |

Explanation:
se non è un errore di battitura, leggo tarudduni, non "turiduni", quindi "lei rifiuta che io le dica scusa", anche se 'awaf' non lo trovo sul diz, quindi ci sono arrivata a senso
